Puddled Duck Cottage is a Tudor period dwelling with over 500 years of character and heritage.

Located in the pretty village of Tattenhall, with its delightful pubs and local shops, Puddled Duck Cottage makes the perfect base from which to explore Cheshire.

Puddled Duck Cottage has recently undergone a full restoration. This saw its timber frame renovated and its original thatched roof reinstated. Sympathetic upgrades were also carried out - under the watchful eyes of English Heritage.

The cottage now benefits from a new central heating system, making the home cosy all year round, Other improvements include a refitted kitchen, bathroom, shower room, breakfast room and a wonderful outdoor - terrace, to the master bedroom, perfect for that romantic glass of fizz!

Floor Plans and Inventory

Puddled Duck Cottage comprises of two floors. The first floor is reached by two sets of stairs - one set leading from the lounge and a second set (to the other bedroom and outdoor balcony) from the entrance hallway.

Inventory:

  • Kitchen with electric AGA, refrigerator, cooking utensils, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and glasses - also, an integrated dishwasher and washing machine (either side of the sink).

  • Bedrooms with bed linen, pillows wardrobes and drawers.

  • Bathrooms with towels and toilet tissue.

  • Lounge with sofa, arm-chair, table and multi channel TV - also, logs and firelighters for wood-burner.

  • Breakfast room with table and chairs.
